Forty Days Of Quadruple Growth Worldwide, Part One
I am often reminded of the words of Dr. Suli Kurulo, Founder of World Harvest Center in Suva, Fiji, and Global Church Network CoChair/Oceania: “We must take the Great Commission literally, strategically, and seriously.” When I was fortunate to be with Dr. Kurulo in 2003, for the first time, the Holy Spirit impressed upon me, “It is no longer the West going to the Rest, but the Best around the world going to the Rest of the World.” We are living in the grandest moments throughout the Body of Christ.
In the last forty days, the Global Church Network (GCNW.tv) has experienced quadruple, compounding growth worldwide.
In August, 2023, the Global Cairo Hub met for its second session of training with 400 leaders attending for eighteen nations. Pastors Brian and Karen Ashworth, from Belfast, Ireland, are serving as the Hub Trainers. Simultaneously, while the Global Cairo Hub continues training hundreds of pastors, the Global Church Divinity School (GCDS.tv) courses are being translated into Arabic. This Arabic translation includes 6,000 pages of transcripts from 200 courses When graduation of the leaders occurs in August, 2024, seven more Egyptian hubs will be started. We must synergize, mobilize and finalize the Great Commission.
In early September, 2023, the FINISH Europe Summit convened with 350 plus leaders from 38 European nations. We established the goal of training 110,000 new pastors and ministers in the next ten years. Our GCN team now is meeting with key leaders in each of the 38 nations, establishing dates for the launch of each national hub. We must from independently to interdenominationally to ascertain what it will take to complete the Great Commission in each nation.
Last week, the Global Northern Ireland Hub converged in Belfast, Ireland. During the Pandemic the North Ireland Hub was launched and two years of training took place. Now, more leaders have been invited to go through the training over the next two years. Pastors Brian and Karen Ashworth, Global Church Network Cochair/Northern Ireland, are providing outstanding leadership! Pastor Kent Jensen, from the Greater Tulsa, Oklahoma, USA, and Pastor Andrew Jagessar, Queens, New York City, USA, are providing phenomenal Hub training for the attendees.
The Global Hubs of Christianity continue to grow and go instead of drying and dying. If you are interested in launching a Hub in your nation, please contact us at Hubs@GCNW.tv. We are strategically scaling to at least 800 hubs by 2030.
Dr. Loren Cunningham, the Founder of Youth With A Mission, graduated for his heavenly reward last week. Until numbers of people have been impacted for eternity throughout his visionary leadership. Of all the leaders I have met, Dr. Cunningham was by far the most traveled person I knew. He had traveled to every nation, every province, every territory, claiming them for Christ and for the fulfillment of the Great Commission.
YWAM began with a God-given vision. In 1956, while staying at a missionary’s home, he had what he later recalled as a vision. Here are his words:
“Suddenly, I was looking at a map of the world, only the map was alive and moving! I could see all the continents, and waves were crashing onto their shores. Each wave went onto a continent, then receded, then came up further until it covered the continent completely. The waves became young people — kids my age and even younger — covering all the continents of the globe. They were talking to people on street corners and outside bars. They were going from house to house and preaching the Gospel. They came from everywhere and went everywhere, caring for people. Then, just as suddenly as it had come, the scene was gone.”
What is your role in God’s goal? The late Mark Twain said, “There are two great questions in life. When was I born? Why was I born? The first question gives us a past understanding, but the second question gives us the path to significance. Why were you born on this earth at this timeframe? The when gives us the calendar and the why gives us clarity. This is your grandest moment!
